Install SiteView and USB driver

1. Download SiteView installation file (SiteView.zip).
2. Unzip it to a destination folder.
3. Double click on the extracted file (Setup.exe) and follow the on-screen instruction.

Make sure your serial number is accessible before installing the application; the serial number will be emailed to you after the purchase of the software.

Once installed successfully, SiteView icon is also placed on the desktop. Please install the USB driver explained below first before launching SiteView.

Install USB driver:

Connect the logger to the computer's USB port.

For Windows Vista and Windows 7 User:

Go to Start >> Control Panel >> System >> Device Manager.

You will see Site-Log Logger icon under Other devices. Right click it and choose Update Device Software…

In the pop-up dialog choose Browse my computer for driver software:

Choose either Site-Log Logger USB driver for x64 or Site-Log Logger USB driver for x86 based on your operating system. And click OK button:

If the following dialog appears, click Install this driver software anyway.

The driver will be installed illustrated in For Windows XP User section.

For Windows XP user:

The following dialog window will appear:

Select "No, not this time" from options available and then Click "Next >" to proceed with the installation.

Select "Install from a list of specific location(Advanced) as shown in the above figure and then click "Next >".

Select "Search for the best driver in these locations.", unselect "Search removable media(floppy, CD-ROM...) and "Include this location in the search:". Click "Browse" button to locate the folder where you unzipped the installation package. The USB driver is located under "USB driver" folder. For example if you extracted to "C:\temp" folder the USB driver is at "C:\temp\USB driver" folder.
Click "Next >" to proceed.

In the following message dialog, click on "Continue Anyway" to continue with the installation:

The screen below will be displayed as Windows copies required driver files:

Windows should then display a message indicating the installation was successful:

Click "Finish" to complete the installation.
